Kristi Chambliss comes to Mansfield from the Piney Woods of East Texas.  Kristi will be teaching agricultural science at the Ben Barber Career Technical Center.  Kristi has a Master’s of Science in Agriculture with emphasis in Animal Reproduction and Educational Leadership and a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture majoring in Animal Science. Growing up she was active in agriculture at home.  Kristi’s experiences range from family farming and production agriculture to showing and equestrian sports.  FFA and 4-H were an integral part of her life and helped her to develop a passion for agriculture and education.  Kristi is a graduate of Stephen F. Austin State University.   While pursuing her education she met her husband Kevin and his 3 wonderful children; Austin, 24, Crystal 19, and Britney 18 .  The two married and had a bouncing little boy named Oran.  Kristi is currently pursuing a Masters in Educational Counseling at Angelo State University.   While she is busy with school and FFA her husband Kevin, has retired from the Military and is currently attending Lincoln Tech.    Besides being an agricultural science teacher and FFA advisor she enjoys spending time with her husband and children on great adventures.  When the opportunities arise she enjoys traveling, dining, playing with her 4 legged friends and enjoying life!
